Merinomink™ is an exclusive blend of 100% natural fibres - fine Merino wool and luxurious Brushtail Possum fibre, blended with silk for strength.

Merinomink™ is unique in that it has featherweight softness and is incredibly warm, due to the hollow structure of the Brushtail Possum fibre, which traps air both within the fibre and in the fabric when blended with high crimp, fine Merino. The fibre has no scales, so resists pilling and has outstanding durability and excellent performance characteristics.

Fabric & Yarn
Merinomink is an exclusive blend of 50% fine merino wool, 40% luxurious Brushtail possum fibre and 10% Mulberry silk. For lighter colours, they add 20% Angora and use 20% Brushtail possum fibre. Luxurious and long-lasting, this exceptional blend offers warmth without weight.

Garment Care
Cool gentle hand wash using mild wool detergent. Squeeze, DO NOT rub. Rinse well in cold water. Normal spin. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Cool iron. Dry cleanable.

The 100% natural fibres of the Merinomink™ blend resist odour so Merinomink™ requires less washing, making it easier on you and the environment.

Irrespective of the method of cleaning, it is highly recommended that the sweater is laundered inside-out. This will protect the sweater’s outer surface and help to maintain as new look for longer.
